My role in the MEDGREENREV project is as a laboratory technician in Geoarchaeology and Palaeoecology at the University of Reading. Where my work will focus on the preparation of thin-section micromorphology slides as well as other geoarchaeological techniques and palaeoenvironmental assessments, such as phytolith processing.
I graduated from the University of Reading in 2026 with a First-Class Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology & Anthropology with a professional placement year. During my placement year I gained experience in geoarchaeological techniques, such as pollen assessments, macrofossil assessments, flotation, Russian and percussion coring.
