PhD in Cultures in Contact in the Mediterranean from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2021). Her doctoral thesis, directed by Dr. Antoni Virgili and Dr. Helena Kirchner, analyses the process of conquest and colonisation of Catalunya Nova based on the case of Occitan immigration. She has also studied family organisation and the role of women in frontier societies such as Catalunya Nova and the more southerly Occitan viscounts.
She has worked as an associate professor of Medieval History at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and as a Margarita Salas postdoctoral researcher at the Université de Perpignan - Via Domitia and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Since 2021 she has also been a collaborating lecturer on the degree in History, Geography and Art History at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
