Juan Manuel Gutiérrez Andrades, born in 1991, is currently technical staff at the Department of Medieval History of the University of Granada, with responsibility for the European Research Project Re-thinking the Green Revolution in the Medieval Western Mediterranean (MEDGREENREV).
He graduated as an Art Historian from the University of Malaga in 2015. In 2018 he obtained a Master's Degree in Archeology from the University of Granada. From 2018 until the end of 2023 he worked as a professional archaeologist, where he spent most of his time as technical staff at the Malaga company “Taller de Investigaciones Arqueológicas”. His work as an archaeologist has led him to work throughout Andalusia, although his training as an archaeologist led him to work in Galicia and Guadalajara. His work experience has allowed him to work in Archaeological Activities of different historical phases, from Prehistory to the Contemporary Age.
