Graduate in Archaeology by Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2020), with a mention in Medieval History. During his first years as an archaeologist, he has taken part in Brull, Balaguer, Torre d’en Galmés and La Llosa excavations, among others.
His research field and interests arose from his bachelor’s thesis titled “The Islamic house: its evolution in the Iberic Peninsula”. An investigation that was further pursued in the Antiquity and Middle Ages Master’s (2020-2021), with his master’s thesis titled “Houses of Al-Andalus: types and evolution”. An interpretation essay”. Both papers, punctuated excellent, were under the direction of Dr. Helena Kirchner. He also holds a MA in Secondary Education Teacher Instruction (2021-2022).
Since 2022 he is a predoctoral researcher at the Ciències de l'Antiguitat i de l'Edat Mitjana department at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He is writing a thesis on the structure and evolution of domestic spaces in Al-Andalus, with a focus on urban houses of Balaguer and Torre d’en Galmés. October 2023 was the time of his first directed excavation in La Llosa (La Cerdanya).
