Since 2023, I am Lector tenure at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. My research is focused on the rural society in the northern area of the Kingdom of Valencia in the Late Middle Ages, especially on two topics.
On the one hand, I study the political activity of the peasantry, the conflicts, the emergence of an identity into rural communities, and the power relationships between the peasants and the other social classes. On the other hand, I analyse the configuration of the landscape of this mountain region, especially the impact of the livestock.
In fact, my contribution to the Synergy Grant MEDGREENREV consists of identifying the livestock infrastructures of the Tinença de Culla, establishing their possible Andalusian origins and gauging their transformations after the process of conquest and colonisation in the 13th Century.
